A mate of mine got a €100 bonus from pp today. In fact he regularily gets these bonuses (although not as substantial) I however have never gotten one, even though i play just as often and at the same levels.... anyone have any ideas or should i just get onto pp?

it's probably reload bonus', i think they include the codes in their emails.

you'd be better off going to a skin that gives u rakeback tho.

hey, right i played on ppp last year - gave up playin online, so might be a little off, but when u go to the "bank" screen, there is a tab that says promotion, if you go to that - there are different promotions you can do - one for $100 and a few others - even one for $500, where i think you get 10,000 paddy power points (for the $100 one) and when you've used all these points up you get the bonus, (you can only be on one promotion at a time, and you have to sign up - the codes are on the paddy power poker website....) hope this is what you are talking about..... let me know if i'm right...

They've got a 100% up to $50 first time deposit, so it's not great. On the plus side you get six months to clear any bonus on Stars and they stack. Also the FPPs required to clear the bonus can be valuable in themselves.

he might have had a bonus in one of the other areas of the site, e.g. casino

The only reason I play ppp is that i can walk into my nearest bookies and throw in 50 euro. No credit cards or any hassle like that.

Why the hatred towards PPP Phantom?

no hatred. it just doesn't make sense to me for people to play on ppp, when u could play on another skin like gjp or noble and get rb.

Do they even have a decent deposit bonus?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,984 ✭✭✭Degag

No, my mate never signed up for any type of bonus, he just gets these free bets every so often.

free bets are to do with sportsbook/casino/games not poker

    Thanks.
I also may join paddypower/ladbrokes because I take it it is rather easy to deposit. There are two of each within a hundred metres of my house.

He may be part of our VIP program. Our current sign up bonus is $101 but this is released in increments of $10.

I suspect he may be in our VIP program which pays out monthly cash bonuses.
If he is VIP level "Major" he would receive a monthly cash bonus of $100.

When we went live with Playtech the integration of deposit bonus didn't exist. However we have been working on it since and will be releasing a $600 deposit bonus later this week.

Edit: Max $600 deposit match bonus 150%.

Well that settles it... he mentioned that he had moved up vip level alright. Damn it, i presume it has to do with accumulated paddy points to move up ranks?

Yup essentially the VIP system is based on the accrual of points. The more points you accrue the larger the bonuses / quicker you accrue points etc. It works on a coefficient averaging your points out over a three month period.
