Jackpot Freezeout tonight. I'm short after getting cold-decked in the first hand. Don't know the Villan but he seems to be playin fairly abc stuff.
The second level (50-100) has just started.

    Hero: 1600
Villan Covers (Just under 3K I think)

Folded round to Hero in the cut-off who makes it 350 to play with 8h7h
Villan on the button raises to 850 total...

How do we feel about a stop-go here?

Not 100% sure, but is a stop and go a call then shove on the flop no matter what?

    Yup

You're going to have half a pot sized bet left, I don't really like it at all. Just let the hand go.

pretty bad. Your gonna be shoving about 800 in a 1600 pot, so hes getting 3/1 to call and he will do that with pretty much anything.

A stop and go would be horrible as you've absolutely no FE, you're giving him 3/1 to call.

You're all undoubtably correct of course.
Knew I mangled this one fairly badly alright.

I just couldn't let it go with nearly quarter of stack in there.
Oh well, another early night for me!

With 16BBs u do not want to be getting jiggy with suited connectors..

    Fold and its not close.

    Open-fold?

sometimes i limp if the player is passive and less inclinded to play it hollywood style. stop go here is a pretty sick strategy regardless of flop with not alot of FE to villain unless hes a total donkey. As played fold to rr.

i think raising to 300 and folding to a reraise is fine.

I'd open limp depending on the blinds, if you think you can get a cheap look at a flop go for it.

    Fold now no question.

I dont like raising preflop for 25% of your stack with 78 either tbh..

it's folded to him in the cut-off, not raising is really bad!
