Trader Media Group seek a customer technical support agent for the new media department based in Sandyford Industrial Estate, Dublin 18.

You will be supporting customers of two of the biggest websites in the country, Carzone.ie and Autotrader.ie.

The role is a helpdesk type role supporting external customers using our bespoke online and desktop applications. These applications facilitate the upload of vehicle stock to the websites and the maintenance of customer websites.

We also provide email, DNS and site hosting services to around 1,000 clients in the motor industry and the role would involve supporting these services. Depending on the candidate the role may include some basic server administration tasks with scope to grow further in that area.

You will be joining a team of three others in the new media administration department and would be the second (and hopefully final ;-) level of escalation for technical queries. We need someone who knows their way around Windows and can apply this knowledge to solving customer problems.

    Responsibilities
    • Answer support calls
    • Take ownership of issues and see them through to successful resolution
    • Liase with other team members as appropriate to resolve customer issues

    Skills
    • Strong technical aptitude
    • Strong customer service-orientation
    • Excellent problem solving skills
    • Ability to work under pressure on multiple simultaneous issues
    • Ability to take the initiative and resolve problems with your own resources
    • Fluent English

An IT qualification, as well as prior customer/helpdesk support would be advantageous, but not necessarily required; the position may suit a graduate.

Salary range: €25-30k depending on experience.

    Contact: jobs [at] carzone.ie

We also have vacancies for developers (preferably ColdFusion, although if you are good with another language, we can cross-train) and designers: see www.carzone.ie/jobs

Any questions feel free to post here or by email- mods let me know if anything is not OK or needs amending and I will fix ASAP.
