This is one for the promoters. Just wondering what the fees for fighting on the Irish circuit are like.

Is the an appearnce fee and a bonus for wining?
Is it just a winner's fee?
How much at entry (unknown or practically unknown) level?
How long before this would go up?
I'm sure there are many things I'm not asking so please feel free to flesh out your answers.

    Thanks y'all

I'd say PM Paul. (bridgestone man). He's on holidays at the moment though. I'm pretty sure he posted up on another forum trying to get fighters over here from the UK for the recent warriors event and included the fees. Can't remember the site though.

Are you talking about mma or thai?

I just paid my €20 like everyone else - you mean I should have gotten some of it back? :D;)

I'm surprised Clive, I heard you were a bottle caps and buttons sort of guy.

Seriously though, can anyone who promotes a show or manages one or more fighgters, take a stab at this for me?

I'd be fairly suprised if you got an answer.

I wouldnt post how much I was paid/was not paid, earned/did not earn or was reembursed or not.

Likewise I would expect confidentiality from a promoter.

    Peace

Really? I can't see what the big deal about discussing fees is. Surely it's very much a part of being a pro fighter.

I get paid, 1500 baht per fight, which is about 34 euros. Not much for a westerner, but it's half a months wages for the avereage Thai.

Feel free to pm me if you wouldn't like to discuss money openly.

    Thanks again.
