    I'm Desperate!

I need to get my digital piano repaired and can't seem to find anyone who does this. It's a Korg sp300 and a couple of keys don't work due to beer spillage!

I'm in Wexford but at this point will travel anywhere.

    cheers

Korg site lists a UK address - maybe you could email them and ask who the repair agent in Ireland is/are.

    Ireland
    Korg UK Ltd
    9 NEWMARKET COURT, KINGSTON, MILTON KEYNES, MK10 0AU, U.K.

    Email: support@korg.co.uk

You could also ask here. Hopefully someone can help you.

I'm dreading the day something goes wrong with my keyboard - there doesn't seem to be an abundance of suitable repairers in this country.

Yikes. I had a problem with a Yamaha board a good few years back, despite going into Yamaha/DanFay on Aungier St I ran into dead end after dead end.

I also have a small intermittent problem with my 7yo Roland, but to their credit they took it for a night and diagnosed the problem. Whole new motherboard needed, about €450 in total so I never bothered - keyboard hardly worth that much.

You have to remember Digital Pianos are just like computers, and seem to have a similar lifespan unfortunately. But I'd defo start with the manufacturer too.

 Jesus don't be saying things like that !!!!!!! Just got me a kick-ass Roland, and this baby is going to live a veeery long and productive life!

*caresses his piano* ...hushh...He doesn't mean that....

(also, I have blunted the blade of a knife, and I am keeping it for the first mother's son who spills something on my piano.) (insert legal disclaimer here)

Best of luck with your repairs OP.

    I hope you're a better carer than I've been Mister Oink :D:D
