Hey whats up guys ..

looking to join the ranks names noel my friends call me the viking really intrested in airsoft i was wondering if you guys could point me in the right direction ?

really want to get into gaming with aegs, i work in the xbox 360 center on sth william st (if any of you guys go there )so call in and have a chat about it with me if your around

yeah i have been reading alot on airsoft ire but theres hardxly ever anyone online there ..

if you want to try out some airsoft guns (we try to avoid the use of the word weapon on here... boo hiss and all that )

anyway, if you want to play with some toys, feel free to come along to hrta on a saturday, it's great craic, and even if your not playing, everyone is always happy enough to show off and let you have a look at their stuff

do alot of peeps drive there on the weekend? maybe i could tag along some sat

As kdouglas just said, we don't call them weapons in here. Weapons are intended to inflict harm. Airsoft is not about that.


Drop out to HRTA sometime and check out the stuff people have. Chances are you'll see something you like and then run home to buy it online

I took them for a little project initiated by Irish_Trinity (who has been kidnapped lately or something). He and a few others were going to create a CSS (CounterStrike Source) map of HRTA.

working this sat but hopefully next i can stall the ball but like i said any of you guys pass by the xbox gaming center pop in ..you could even bring a toy or 2 and we could go out back just so i can get a feel ..

thinking of buying a jing gong mp5 just for starters

I don't think you will find anyone willing to bring their airsoft equipment out to a game shop in the city centre the potential for misunderstandings etc is just way too high, your best bet is to go along to a skirmish where everyone is always more than willing to help/show/explain

I've no experience of it myself but I would advise against buying a clone for your first AEG, the lemon rate can be pretty high and if your first AEG turns out to be a dud the hassle of repairing/replacing it may be enough to put someone off the whole idea of Airsoft. I'd say save up and buy a TM or CA, ICS do some nice looking MP5s if thats what you have your heart set on but definitely drop by a skirmish before you make any purchases.

And if for some (insane) reason you don't happen to like airsoft, you can sell a TM or CA on and cover a good bit of the cost.

I have a pre upgraded ics mp5 called airsoft elite.

VERY good gun. Would highly reccomend it.

Just make sure you don't try and play an outdoor game in SWAT gear. Saw a guy doing this up at Predator once. Had to change his clothes after a few minute of play

Most SWAT teams use OD BDUs. This would be a nice compromise and IMO it looks alot more prefessional.

Ha ha .. well i plan on getting alot of diff get ups for games .. ,urban or indoor play i would use S.W.A.T style black or blue ,outdoors Camo or OD BDUs trying to sell a bass amp at the moment so i can fund some of the massive amounts of tac gear i need(want)
