    Full Time Fire and Emergency Service to North Wicklow

    Submission date for all concerned residents to comment of the Draft Feasibility Study, copy available at: http://wicklow.ie/fire%20ser-/fire_index.html is 12th July 2007.

    I urge all residents, councillors and concerned bodies to submit all submissions by closing date. We have taken a step forward in ensuring that change happens, and now it is up to us to ensure the pressure is kept on for change.

    only just seeing this post now but have emailed my support, if everyone who reads this did the same (it only takes a min!) it would b fantastic & cld help save lives - come on everyone.

    it came as a surprise to me to be reminded that fire fighting is only organised and funded locally in Ireland, you think it would be of national importance.

    My question is when was the last time the issue of fire fighting funds came up at council level( if not at the yearly budget)?
