bonus entitlements

    ok long story short we get a bonus every quarter assuming we meet the criteria.

    I am leaving at the end of august beginning of september. I will more tha n likely still be in work for my review the bonus will be for the months may june july with the review in august.

    my question is if i leave on the last day of august i will not get a pay check in september(im pretty sure i wont anyway) which is when the bonus will be paid. is it just my tough look or should they(do they have to) give it to me after they have told me i have met the requirements?

    check your contract,
    it will msot likely say that you must be in the employ of the company at the time of bonus payouts.
    and bonuses are usually paid the month after the end of the quarter

    thanks ill check the contract tomorrow i dont remember it mentioning anything about bonus's as it was only something that was brought in a few months ago

    i reckon my team leader would give it to me as i get on well with him and would probably be the best performer on the team but the company has struck me as very tight and generally not caring about the employees too much so i wont be holding my breath
