Im thinking of ordering sky and cancelling Ntl. Im getting abit confused by how much diffference there is in the cost. I have Ntl digital on one tv and the basic channels on two other tv's. If I cancel NTL and change to sky will I have to pay €15 each for the other two rooms or is there anyway that I can just keep the basic channels as in RTE1,2 tv3 , bbc1,2 utv channel 4 sky one and sky news?

Hi Cobi, If you upgrade to Sky you have a number of options.

    1. For additional rooms you will need to subscribe to Multi-room at €15 per extra room and you will require a phone line.

    2. Get sky in the first room, and you can transmit the same channel to additional rooms by either a wireless unit or by running a coax cable from the back of the box.

    3. Get sky in the first room, and get a terrestrial aerial put up for the additional rooms, depending on where you are depends on the type of aerial and cost etc of this. You can also get a freesat system installed in the other rooms, which will give you the bbcs, itv channels as well as various films and entertainment packages for a once off fee at a later stage to give yourself more choice.

    Hope that helps.
