    Hi,

Can anyone help me? My friends and I are going to study in Paris for the year and have no accommodation. We're looking to rent private accommodation but don't really know where to start.
We're UCC students so there won't be any hand me down apts for us.

    I'd greatly appreciate all help.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    where will you study at?
In Paris, there are two ways to find appartments.

One is by dealing directly with the landlord --> check www.pap.fr
Second is to find an appartment through an agency (easier than the first one but expensive since you must pay fees to the agency before moving in :~500€)

There's also a third way to find an appartment: talk to students around you, maybe they'll know someone who just move out...)

Currently living in Lyon, France and used this website to set myself up.. they have something for everyone. Relatively hassle-free, though it is handy if you know someone in France who can act as your garante.. generally, a large deposit is required too. Remember, accommodation in Paris is pretty damn expensive at the moment.
