    Bizarre Hand of the Day

    Board:
    {K-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}

    Preflop, Todd Brunson limps in, in the small blind, and a player in the big blind raises to 4,000. Brunson re-raises to 25,000 and the player calls. That player thinks it's an all-in situation and turns over {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} accidentally.
    On the flop, Brunson bets 5,800 all in with the queens showing and the opponent calls. Brunson shows {A-Spades}{2-Hearts} for bottom pair and the bluff, and spikes another 2 on the river. Brunson's at 65,000

    Lolz

    Is this really the standard?

    Another Weird One
    Board: 3c9h9sTh2s

    Chris Moneymaker and another player check the flop. On the turn, Moneymaker checks and the opponent bets 1,500. Moneymaker check-raises to 4,000 and the opponent calls. They check the river and Moneymaker has J-8 for the busted draw. The opponent has 5-2 -- the deuce on the river won it for him. Moneymaker now has 59,800.

    Todd gets a hard time, can't be easy being his fathers son in the poker world.

    I'd imagine we have all played a few hands in the past that we felt a bit :o
    about how we played.

    At least I know I have, lol :o

    wtf was his opponent doing? Ninja call of the checkraise with 52. He put himself on AK obv.

    Seems pretty standard. He thought Moneymaker was weak, maybe drawing, floated on him and was going to take it down on any blank river. He ended up hitting bottom pair, so if his read was right he now has the best hand and Moneymaker isn't calling a bet so he checks behind, if his read was wrong any bet here is just giving chips to Moneymaker. If he didn't hit the two and bet a blank river it'd just look like good play.
