Filters - Square or Round?

I'm planning on buying some filters for landscape work. I've been looking at the range on 7dayshop

    7DayShop Filters

I'm thinking of going with the square ones as they can be used on different lenses with the right adapter. However I have seen some threads saying that square filters are too awkward for frequent use. Would I be better advised going for the round type?

I going to get an ND4 and also a graduated one, what's the best colour in the graduated range for enhancing sky definition?

    Any advise appreciated.

    James.

All my filters are round. I have a graduated grey filter too. I haven't used it a whole lot but did take a few picts with it this weekend. Once I get them processed, I'll post an example.

I only have round too. I don't have that many. Tried the square ones on my film camera and I much prefer the round ones. They're quicker IMO to take on and off.

If you're planning on buying a few different types it might be worth checking out prices from some ebay stores in HK, see if you can get professional ones for the same price or cheaper than 7dayshop.

Depends on which ones you are going to use.
For something like a Polarizer, I would go with a round one.
But if you use some sord of graduated filter (like a ND graduate), square is the one to go, as you can't adjust the transition on the round ones without moving the whole lense upwards or downwards.

    Thanks for the replies.

As I'm planning on using the graduated ones it looks like there is no choice, it has to be square.

Has anyone any experience with Kood?
I know they are not a top brand but they have got some good reviews.
