    Tournament Hand

    Blinds 150/300

Villain in late position limps into pot. SB completes and BB checks. Flop comes 8h7h2s SB pushs all in for 2100 and BB pushs all in for 2250, villain in late position also calls.

    SB reluctantly shows 73o
    BB shows Kh7s
    Villain announces AhKs

With two people after pushing all in would u call this with AK?

i could never lay down the AK here. with two overcards to the board, one being an ACE, i believe i'm a 92/93% favourite over most hands. my math might be slightly off, i'll crunch the numbers and get back to you.

If this is serious, this the post of the month.

    Surpassing NeVer wondefull effort

I really hate playing JJ, I personally would fold. It's nice but very easy for it to be beat. I would fold and wait for the next hand.

Even if he has AQ/AK he was 8 outs and you only have 2. You could also be behind already.

He could be bluffing trying to steal, but it's in early position so I don’t think it's a bluff.

forgot to ask, is this a serious question? do you really require an answer!! calling two all ins with nothing but over cards which may or may not be live is horrible, buddy list and sit in position of this guy!

A simple question from a simple person, why are so many players unable to throw away AK when they are behind. On Saturday in the sporting emporium the first 6 people to go seemed to go out after refusing to let go of AK.

    LOL @ dumb yanks.

It always amazes me on 2+2 how stupidly gullible Americans can be, could it have been any more obvious that thread was a wind up?

    Here's another....

I don't think this call is as bad as ye all think!!

    pot: 900 + 2100 +2250 = 5250

    price to call 2250 - 2.33/1

odds to hit overpair - 3.2/1

he's also beating a fd and an oesd!!

the most important factor is how big is his stack? if he can afford the -EV gamble is could be the correct move

    1) he can bust 2 players
    2) if he folds and hits - he may steam his head off for being a knob and not raising pf...lol

maybe he limped in thinking that the sb/bb was gonna push with any 2 - they were short and aggro - when they only flat called, he decided that he was going to see all 5 cards...

i dunno - i know its a horrible call, but if i had a good stack and could afford the loss, i may call here

He did have a big stack thats why i said "i have odds to call"

Me personally i thought it was a cryin call i was thinking to myself what is this guy in this pot he should of dropped it already.
