    Hello!!
Im going on a tour with my hockey team in 11 days. I have missed alot of training as I have been on holidays for the last month where I didnt do any excercise. I really need to get fit quickly before the tour starts as we will have loads of matches and i dont want to be the one puffing for breath after 10 minutes of running!! Is it possible to get fit before then by working out every day or would i just be wearing myself out before the trip??

I am a member of a gym so i have access to equipment etc.

    Thank you :)

If you were fit a month ago, I don't think you are going to be a complete slouch now. For the next 11 days I would do a little exercise but not enough to wreck yourself or to risk injury. It's been a while since I played hockey but maybe the best thing to concentrate on is skills training.

If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team.

This will be fairly extreme but if you could keep up witht hese guys you'll be doing ok, remember plenty of stretching and water to prevent muscle cramps.
Don't train for two days before your first match, just totally rest. It's not ideal, but it's better than sitting on your arse for a fortnight.
