Have you tried looking at the sticky "Useful sites for flights..".

It may take a bit of leg work, but there is no reason to book them all at one particular site.

Also check out some physical travel agencies.

    Hi

I tried using the links but all those websites simply check all the airlines - what i mean to ask is is there a better way of getting the flights other than simply booking a series of 1 way tickets - as doing that is costs €4,200?

    Many thanks,
    Simon

Skip Beijing and you can do it for €2k with Quantas. If you get onto them they might do a deal for you including Beijing.

why dont you try to book a rtw ticket?

ring up usit or trailfinders and see what the can offer! seems like an expensive trip!

what about usit? €1950 is still a good price on what you originally priced it at!

I think thats mental money... I've booked Hong Kong - Sydney - New Zealand - Thialand - Dublin for €1,500 at the same time of year that you are going... I thought it was crazy money. Trialfinders priced the same thing at €2,100 for me... which was the most expensive. Would you not try gohop and Usit... honestly... it pays to shop around!!!

Trailfinders are great and really helpful, but if you can fit the flights in with quantas , aer lingus and ba then usit will most probably be able to do you a better deal,...and they are also more flexible about date changes which is really handy if you decide to hang on a few extra days in somewhere you love......give them a ring!!
