Recording FTV and FTA

We've moved into a house that already has a sky dish but no digibox. I want to buy FTA receiver or a Digibox but was wondering what the situation is with recording programs. I've never had satellite before
Can I record a program while watching another one, regardless of whether I have a FTA receiver or a digibox? Is it possible to get a FTA receiver with a built in hard drive?
    Thanks!

If you purchase a standard FTA sat box you will only be able to record the channel you are watching however you could put up a terrestrial aerial and record one and watch the other.

There are dual tuner FTA satelite boxes available with build in hard-drivers or dvd-burners but they are quite expensive in my opinion.

Here is one maplin have listed..

Thanks Steveon. Do you know what the recording situation is with a digibox and an FTV card?

With a Digibox you will only be able to record the channel you are watching....but once again a terrestrial aerial would give you more cghoice toi watch one and record the other.
