Which Battlefield do you play

So which flavour of battlefield do you play, I play 2, though I have stuck my head into vietnam. I'm assuming BF2 is the most popular followed by 2142 but I wanted a vote

I play both Bfv & Bf2 .My fav is deffo Bfv ,More atmosphere,better accuracy, and less frustrating .

i play occasional bf1942, still probably the single greatest game in teh world!!! (beside bfv).

It's def worth the buy even for nostalgia. You will get to see where it all started, some of the maps were fantastic and the general atmosphere intoxicating. There are still a lot of people playing it, however it can be very unforgiving to a newbie starting out as the guys still playing have become very very good.

to summarise;

Bf1942 - excellent
bfv - excellent and mad fun
bf2 - started to go down hill
bf2142 - destroyed the dreams of many of the original fans and still leaves a lump in our throats.

BF2. Great version. Enjoyed BFV aswell I was a huge fan of Desert Combat though. Sure that all BF2 was really ;P

I did not buy the new one as I felt tribes had the whole future laser sh1t covered. BF4 will probably be BF 4040 Man versus an alien invasion or something. :rolleyes:

Would a fairer poll not be "which vanilla battlefield do you play?" or more precisely, which non-3rd party modded battlefield do you play ? POE is very different from BF2.

Just curious about how many of the 20 votes above are BF2 players or mod players ? (primarily - as in which type of server do you log in to most often ?).

I think that would be a fairer comparison for BF:V vs BF2 vs 2142

Still have 1942, but not played it in years.
Tried BFV, strangely did not do that much for me (boo hiss etc. - I know).
Tried 2142, got rid of inside a week.

So, BF2 vanilla mostly.

A bit of the "Assault Mod" every now and then (the M249 sound file really is wicked on this mod. Oh... and the blood spurts of course )

A bit of the "FFOLKES Unlocks678" for some single player 60-bots fun.

Along with a few new maps, Bridge 2B and Hangar06 being long-time faves, both MP and SP (you just gotta try these with a mass amount of bots in SP Mode - never seen carnage in such a scale in any other game!)

Anyway got POE bug after a lan, went online tonight and last and there's SFA populated servers, well 4 maybe very dissapointed.
