    hello all.

    i have 2 questions -

where can i get holga pictures processed in dublin and what price should i be expecting to pay?

also i currently shoot digital but i really want to try shooting in film more. so i was thinking of getting a scanner that will scan the negatives for me to save processing costs which will kill me..is it possible to get a scanner that will scan 120 and 35mm format? and not too pricey..

Gunns do it on Wexford street ... can't remember the price but PM elven and she'll tell you ... ask for Fiona she does all the printing ... they are the nicest people ... I like em so much I bought my 1D Mk III there ... my first ever significant purchase inside the EU!

I have the Canoscan 9950F ... I'd recommend it ... but it may be pricey ... the next model down is pretty good too ... not so many DPI ... but in practice is not really a big problem since I rarely scan at full res ... and sure if you need a special job bring it to Gunns ...

Forgot to add ... if you need a really special print job for very reasonable money then you will not get a better work than Hetty in Dun Laoghaire ... she is amazing ...

Website including prices (don't mind all the Kinsale stuff) -

It was 4.50 for dev only. 15 for dev & scan. I think the scans will only get you a 5x7 print hough, not huge quality.

Hi guys, I have just sent 120mm slide film (agfachrome 50S professional) that expired in 1980 in to be developed in Conns Cameras in Dublin (they send it to photocare in abbey st I think). But turns out they are unable to process this film. The guy told me that there was a similar problem with a kodachrome film and there was only one place in the EU that actually still processed this film. Does anyone know of anywhere that would still be able to process the Agfachrome 50 S pro?

i'd try some of the pro places, like repro35.

also, hetty has moved to kinsale, i think.
