Bought 2 memory sticks 2 weeks ago, 2 different sellers.
Seller B charged £5 postage by recordered delivery 2 days later I received the stick, all fine.
Seller A (over 5k feedback, 99.00%), item bought a day earlier to seller B's charged £9.98 for postage (standard Int rate) but as I was getting the stick cheap, I went ahead and bought it.
Waited 10 days and then sent him an e-mail every day for next 3 days without reply. He eventually replied saying "it's probably lost" but if we go "halves" to resend another one, he would post a different one.
    What should I do?
    I paid him by Paypal.

Ask him for proof of postage , and to claim off the insurance....

If he says he didn't pay for recorded delivery/insurance then report him from making profit from p&p which is against ebay rules...

If it wasn't International Signed-For then there's probably not much you can do as it's not recored. Airmail should get here in a week or so, but I've had things take up to three weeks to arrive from UK before so it could still turn up next week. Might be best to go halves on the replacement, but I don't know how happy I'd be to send another one unregistered.

If you haven't received your item it's the sellers responsibility, you shouldn't have to go halves to fund another memory stick. Assuming he is sending the item from the UK, he is covered up to £30 for standard post. Just ask for a refund and if he refuses then make a claim with PayPal.

He's come back twice talking about 50/50 for a replacement so I've decided to send an E-mail to Paypal and let them sort it out.
