    Not sure if anyone else was going to play the tournament on PPP tonight. It was because of today being 07/07/07. So the tournie was due to start at 7.07pm, $77 buyin, and a whopping $7,777 added to the prizepool.

    Here's a sample quote from the PPP website on the tournie (where they have a whole page dedicated to the tournie):

    "Q: Why are you doing this Paddy?
    A: Because the boss will be away on holliers and won't notice that we've spent her entire whiskey budget"

    and all stuff like that.


    was really looking forward to playing the tournie because of all the added money, and the okay buyin.

    went on today and there is no mention of the tournament, which they have been promoting for the last two weeks or so. Apparently it has been cancelled "due to lack of interest" (only found this out after contacting management), even though there is loads of time until the tournie starts this evening.

    Anyway, just a warning - "fun" ppp, reserves the right to cancel their fun events, no matter how much publicity they put into them, and without even waiting to see if the minimum number of players is reached.

    Maybe the boss came back. Although that doesnt sound like the pitboss as i have found her to be quite generous maybe not as generous as karlh but shur she's trying.

    i know of several people who got fed up on pp. too many silly hands winning too many quads ,strait flushes etc all in the one table in short space of time .takes the fun out of playing seriously when 2 7 os becomes a good hand lol

    Yeah i left PPP because one time one guy hit a card he was 6% to win, PPP are rigged but the ipoker network is not, it's just PPP.

    OMG you fish!! Online poker isn't rigged!! Only a fish would say that!! lawl!! I mean if PPP was rigged - the entire network would be!! Only an idiot wouldn't realise that it is all the exact same software and just different market specific brands!!
