yes i suppose i could look in the yellow pages but i thought there would be a good few solicitors here ,am i wrong?and i want to find soemone who is understanding towards the industry rather than some guy taking my money and tell me all about how its not moral.i want legal advice not somebodys opinion so i thought if i made it all cler here i woluld find somebody who would take the job on.

I'm sure the one you look up in the yellow pages will be fine.

You'll find morality lectures in a religious establishment (ironically), not a pay-as-you-go solicitors office babes.

Good luck with the exotic dancers and stripograms, it'll be lovely!

No solicitor is going to concern themselves with the morality of a stripogram service, they are paid to advise you on your legal obligations (so they may well wish to satisfy themselves that it is merely a stripogram service you intend offering and not as a cover for some more illicit or illegal services).

You do not require a specialist solicitor, as the process of setting up a company/registering a business name is very straightforward indeed. As others have suggested just pick up the Golden Pages and ring around a few different firms, or alternatively use a solicitor who you have used in the past and trust or who has been recommended to you.

You want legal advice, not somebody's opinion? So instead of picking up a telephone book and seeking out a solicitor, you come onto a forum???? Why would a solicitor be interested in the type of business you run? It's a simple business set up.

Anyway, I didn't think you were allowed advertise your company on here?

The person before you in the solicitor's office could have just raped a nun on a sunday in the middle of the procathedral. Solicitors are not delicate creatures used to fawning at fair maidens in pastoral scenes (well, most aren't).

If you think that ringing up a random solicitor is a bad idea, why not ring a few stripogram companies, explain your situation to them, and ask them who they use?
