    Guys,

    A mate of mine is looking for a Network Engineer/Sys Admin for a company based in the Midlands. Established company who just opened their new office in Tullamore, so ideal if anyone is looking to get out of Dublin back home. he asked if I could post up here, so here it is.. :)

    Job Specs:

    Responsibilities

    Assist design and implementation of production infrastructure
    Administration of Microsoft AD, Exchange and 2003 Servers
    Management of Cisco PIX Firewalls, Checkpoint, Switches and Firewalls
    Implement and Administer VPN and Remote Access
    Network management and monitoring
    Desktop management & support
    Telephony management & support
    Implement best practices, network documentation and diagrams
    Support development and testing infrastructure, providing design and implementation advice on R&D projects
    Infrastructure design and management of remote offices
    Database Administration
    Assist with client infrastructure requirements and implementations
    Vendor Management
    Disaster Recovery
    Project Management on infrastructure implementations

    Requirements

    4+ years experience in a Network, Server and Desktop Support Role. CCNA an advantage.
    Formal Network training (MCP, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP)
    Experience with MS Active Directory, MS Exchange, MS Server 2003, XP
    Network Design and Management Experience, Network Documentation and proven implementation of best practices
    Server and Desktop Support (2003, XP, Vista)
    Remote office and Remote user support experience, VPN, Citrix
    Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
    � Ability to self manage and continually strives to improve infrastructure design and support.
    � Experience with developing and managing 3rd party vendors
    Disaster Recovery experience (planning and implementing)
    Telephony Management, VOIP, SIP, ISDN, LCR traffic planning experience an advantage
    Cisco PIX Firewalls, switches and routers.
    SQL2000, SQL2005, MySQL experience, Unix / Oracle an advantage
