My VHI travel insurance is up for renewal.

Looking for annual, multi-trip cover for an individual. No optional extras (such as winter sports etc.)

VHI is doing it for €49 which I think will be hard to beat.

Can anyone recommend anything that might compete?

    You could also try www.123.ie

You can choose their Healthcover+ deal if your private health insurance (Quinn Healthcare/BUPA, VHI, VIVAS) includes cover abroad, HealthCover+ may make it cheaper than VHI's offer. Though you may need to compare what each insurance covers.

I have no connection with the company.

I'd recommend Get cover as they discount for vhi, bupa etc and you can choose additional business cover for your lap top. Still cheaper than vhi.

Check out moneysupermarket.com, just make sure you select a policy for an Irish resident. I have used this site to get travel insurance and it comes up with interesting results compared to whats on offer here.

Try Brassingtons. Not on the net though.
