Anyone remember one of the first isotonic drinks. I think it was in a blue can and had 'iso' or maybe sport some where in the name.

I remember the drink, and the hype about it being Isotonic. The can was definitely blue, but it tasted like muck.

    no I don't think so.
Tasted pretty dodge all right, but have a weird craving to taste it again.
I only ever bought one can I think at some demonstration maybe it was never fully launched on the market.

John Barnes advertised Lucozade Sport. "After ninety minutes of sheer hell - you're gonna be thirsty"...

That was in a blue can as well and tasted weird but I don't think it ever took off in Europe (maybe it was the unappetising name :D)

I think the name was "Iso" something or other.

I would have said isostar as well, tho I think Pocari Sweat was just called Pocari over here.

Anyone remember the drink Ice-T, or something like that (It was an Ice Tea drink anyways!). The ads had some tennis chap plugging it.

Anyone remember the Lucozade ad in the mid 80's with Daley Thompson and featuring a fan-bloody-tastic soundtrack consisting of Iron Maiden's "Phantom of the Opera" playing over it! Now that was a class ad! :D
