It has been described as a kind of 'redneck Burnout'.

The latest one had a glitch which often sees a competitor's car getting stuck on the front of your car, bringing you to a near standstill... along with rubber-banding of the competitors behind you.

Meant to be great fun, apart from these niggles, though.

Played it last weekend in the xbox centre. It's a bit of crack alright and the stunt mode is fun.

FlatOut's tracks are among the most visually impressive and astonishingly detailed we've seen in any racing game, ever

    Not bad!
And looks like a laugh - must check for a demo

Still working my way through the derby class at the moment.
It takes a while to grow on you, but once you get into the flow of the game it all starts to become fantastic fun. there's nothing like notching up 3000k+ in one race through reckless driving, and still managing to come in first place:D
I'm definitely agreeing with eurogamer's score so far anyway, well worth a purchase if you're after a quick bit of high octane crashing into stuff thrills.

    It's mighty purdy too:)

I love Burnout Revenge. Would this be the game for me or should I wait for the next Burnout.
