I had originally planned on running this structure for the month of June only to give players travelling to Vegas practice and than returning to my normally game with 10,000 starting stack.

However due to players request I have decided to continue with this game for the future.

Good to hear you're keeping the 20k stack.
What's on the food menu? :)

    Hi JP,

Will there be enough time on the main break for people to get a feed in the bar? Was a bit rushed last time.

    Thanks

I wasn't aware of anyone not having enough time at the break, normally the players are back in the room before the break is over.

Sorry if you missed out on some hands the last time you played. There should be no reason for you to order food, but if you want to i can organise for order to be with the kitchen before we go on break so you get it at the start of the break. Just let me know.

Smurph knocked me out early enough for me to go to work :( Bad beat for sure.

I called her 1200 raise on the button after a limper with Qh10h and limper calls as well. Flop comes 10d 8h 4c limper checks, Smurph bets 4000 I call. Turn comes Jh. She bets 11k, I have 16k behind. I feel I have enough outs to get a double through. I knew she was ahead and up until the turn I was hoping it was AK but after the 11k bet I believed it was overpair - I ruled out a set for some unknown reason and therefore put them all in to hit. She had KK and 5s on river = work time! Hope you used the chips well :o

Will be back next weekend with no work commitments! very good game

Went out in 11th place. Got short stacked with 36K and pushed with KQoff on the button for the BB to wake up with Pocket Aces. Had 55K by first break and 45K by dinner break, couldn't get going. You had a hell of alot of outs by the turn, white knight and when you went all in I did fear a set tbh..... I think it's your turn to knock me out of a tournament..

It is a great tournament and the structure with the amount of chips in play is brillant, but it is a fast tournament. Instead of people sitting back and relaxing all hell breaks loose in the first few levels, with stuff like blinds 50 100 raise to 400, raise to 3K call call, huge pots develop early on. I actually made both breaks this time which is momumental considering I haven't made it past the first break in any of these events.

Goal for next time, make the money:rolleyes:

3 of us chopped this at 2.40am. In fact, the 3 us of offered a 4 way split at about 2.00 am which the dissenter rejected and then my AK sent him to the rails. Turning down the offer cost him E400 (I was offering my E250 ticket).

It can't be said enough, JP runs a cracker of a tourney - Fantastic dealers, The venue, the atmosphere, the structure - all great.

He's also a super TD. There were some tricky decisions he had to make, one when I called for a ruling and one where the dealer "spilled" some cards after the action and before the folp.

Bad luck to Smurph. I knocked Sean out on the bubble minutes after you left.
    Well done to all

I run bad and play worse - so I was out without much of a whimper. lol donkaments.

The structure is different - but good. The new chips are great. I strongly reccomend this game and will be playing it more frequently myself going forward.

    Fair play JP.
