Just got a letter telling me that my apllication to do history as a single subject major in 2nd year was successful.

Just wondering from anyone who has done it-Whats the difference for those studying history as a single subject compared to those who do it as part of the omnibus degree?Apart from the obvious fact we dont study any other subject(bar electives)?Do we have to take certain options the others dont?

Also what was your general impression of the course and any tips on good classes to take?

You'll be studying third year history courses so you'll have five to six modules every semester. Your whole degree will then be in History.
