    Singer needed for Dublin/Kildare based band. We are looking for someone male/female with a powerful, soulful voice to join an existing 4 piece. Rehearse once/twice a week. Songs/lyrics already written, we need a vocalist to start gigging & recording.

    We have 2 tracks on our myspace site to give you an idea of the sound.

    What age singer are you looking for? What are your influences?

    Our main concern is to find someone with a good voice, so age isn't really an issue.
    The influences of each band member differ, they range from 60's/70's rock/soul/blues to modern day bands like Queens of the Stone Age etc.

    Mine main ones would be smashing pumpkins, my bloody valentine, opeth, soundgarden, david bowie, amongst tonnes others. I'd describe my vocal styles as somewhere between chris cornell, kate bush, aretha franklin (maybe robert plant more appropriately) with a fair bit of opera thrown in. Sound alright?

    Hey, are you guys still looking for a singer? I'm male and sing, influences include Nina Simone, Tim and Jeff Buckley, The Band etc.

    I really like the sound of the stuff you have up on myspace, is all of it as laid back or do you have tracks that kick in a little more? I've a good range, I can sing at the pitch on the recordings but I slightly higher keys might suit me better occasionally.

    I wouldn't mind trying out or recording you a demo or something, my only trouble is I'm going away in 6 days for 4 days, I'll be away for a week in august too and I work five days a week at d mo, sometimes sat r sunday and sometimes til 9.30. Where do you guys practise??
