I have read to the nutrient sticky at the top, but I would like a (small) list of healthy things to buy in the supermarket. I only drink water(so now replacement drinks required) and I never eat between meals.

Just out of curiosity, is this diet ok

    Morning- Crunchy nuts

Dinner- Chips(fried), rice, noodles, chicken curry(homemade), burger.(this is typical of dinner in my house)

    Night- Cappucinho with 2 sugars

I'm 17 years of age. Any advice would be much appreciated.

    God bless

Note that dinner is not a King's dinner, they are the sort of foods we eat at dinner.

No Lunch? Crunch nut has a lot of sugar, Dinner seems to have a lot of carbs.

But 17 is a pretty good age to get it sorted? Got to disagree with you there dave. Good to see someone at that age wanting to get their act sorted before it gets out of hand. If only the rest of the population had similar intentions.

Totally agree about the over analyzing and obsessing part as I've done that myself and it drove me mad after a while. Did teach me what was good/bad though but the OP can learn a lot in just a couple of days here, just like I did a while ago.

My goals are just to start eating healthy. I gave up fizzy drinks a long time ago, use to be obsessed now I hate them.

I don't like saying it this way but this is probably the way to sum it up, I want a 6 pack, I don't no why, just the thought of it sounds good.

I had big plans of turning vegan but then I said ah well, lifes too short(at the moment, perhaps when I'm slightly older)

We all have it esteban, just that you can see it on those that have good diets. Get your body fat percentage down to 10% or so and you'll begin to notice it. I stuck to a really good diet for a few months when I started eating/living healthy, and I really noticed a difference around that area soon after (although this was not my intention, and still not of concern to me, but I ain't complaining).

Get your breakfast sorted first I say...like porridge? If so, you can start the day with that and throw in some seeds to have a real healthy brekkie.

Forgive the newbies suggestion if this has already been tried or it over laps too much with another forum.

Why not have sticky with the express intention of food ideas for fitness? A kinda receipes/snack ideas...

Those little things that people make/do themselves and think its obvious but people wouldnt have tried.

For example. From just reading through other threads im picking up some ideas of stuff to try. Like the tuna steaks over chunks in sunflower oil....

The nutrition and theory stickies are great and list of what should be a in a press is also good but to be honest i have little imagination when it comes to food.

Or anything which can be made in 2 mins as i'm an impatient bastard with little "free" time.

    Just an idea
