Peavey Generation Guitars

So I've been toying around with buying a Telecaster or Telecaster-style guitar for a while.

I've a good few guitars already so I don't need a high end one, in fact I'm happy with a good cheap, good value "for the money" guitar (I'm a big fan of Behringer let's just say).

I've seen these Peavey Generation guitars on Thomann which look like they'd be good bang for my buck

    http://www.thomann.de/ie/peavey_generation_ex_triple_single_bs.htm

Pickups don't really bother me, it's just for bedroom use and won't be gigged (probably) so if they don't sound great they don't sound great.

My favourite guitar at the moment is my Spectrum Les Paul I "fixed up" there a while ago, prefer playing it now more than my Maverick F1 or Fender acoustic.

All the reviews of this guitar I've found online are for different versions, mainly on Harmony Central which I just plain don't trust...

Anyone played one of these or have an opinion on low-end Peavey guitars in general?

(yes I know that guitar is sold out by the way, I'm in no hurry to buy anything so I can wait...)

That will sound closer to a Strat than a Tele, Its got three single coils, most Tele's will have two. but for bedroom playing, for that price it will be perfect.
