So I bought the aforementioned model less then two weeks ago, and the screen is going nuts on me. It will occasionaly go blank for no reason despit the rest of the phone functioning as normal.
At the best of times, the screen goes all distorted, like a pc monitor with disasterous colour settings.
Also, the damn thing has never been dropped...not once!

Has anybody else had any trouble with this model???

bring it back to where you bought it and exchange it before you hit the 28 day mark

Yeah, I was gonna. But I don't have the receipt anymore so I was kinda hoping that if it was a mass fault thing that there would be less hassle.

I haven't had that problem, but I have a 5300, previously my girlfriends, and she's had to get it fixed twice because of a problem when calling people, it's all distorted and metallic. Here's hoping it will happen that third time...:D

Ah really though....it's a nice phone.

they probably took your name when you bought it so you don't need it. if not they still would have entered the serial number of the phone when selling it so you're still covered

if for some reason they didn't do that, bring it to mprc in sandyford (www.mprc.ie), they'll repair it for free if its in warranty and that phone has been available for less than two years so its definitely in warranty
