Green Joke Poker Maningrida 0.25/0.50, hand converted by the iPoker Converter at Talking-Poker

    Button ($47.98)
    SB ($50)
    BB ($49.50)
    UTG ($203.95)
    UTG+1 Hero ($130.45)

    Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with Adiamond.gif Aheart.gif
UTG calls 0.50, Hero raises to 2, 1 fold, SB calls 1.75, 2 folds.

    Flop (5.00) 4spade.gif 5spade.gif Kspade.gif
SB checks, Hero bets 3, SB raises to 12, Hero calls 9.

    Turn (29.00) 3club.gif
    SB bets 25??

Villain is 13/5/2.3 after 100 hands. I called the flop thinking its a typical steal attempt on a scary board and when i seen the turn bet i was all set to fold but then i taught would the flush play this hand so hard, maybe its a broadway with 1 spade, either way its obviously push or fold on that turn so which is it?

Fold very quickly to a 13/5. Against this guy I might even fold the flop too

Id be more inclined to concentrate on his post flop aggro of 2+ in this situation. He calls with 13% so hes range is:

    66+,A8s+,KTs+,QTs+,JTs+,AT+,KJ+

So with Aces i shouldnt be too afraid other than hes 2 suited cards or AA-KK im ahead of most of his range and id expect to be RR by KK or AA preflop. I'm not saying here that folding is wrong or right im just pointing out that i dont think hes V$PIP or PFR shouldnt have much bearing on the situation once weve seen a flop.

The preflop stats can tell us a lot about his postflop tendencies as well. We know he's very tight and doesn't raise often, the AF doesn't disagree with this.

I think you could include 22 - 55 in his calling range and maybe take out KK and AA.

It's unlikely he's playing small spades so if he has a flush it's a fairly strong one. His turn bet seems fairly big for a strong made flush but it's possible he's trying to protect it.

I think it's more likely that he has a set or AK, maybe KQ and probably with the A/Q in spades.

    I fold here.

I'm with a fold too, he's playing very stong, probably has a set of 4's or 5's or a low enough flush

I'd fold here and wait for the next hand.. I've lost so much money to hands like this. Even if he has 1 spade , another could come on the river..

    Fold.

I was 99% ready to fold, then i started second guessing myself, hes agression factor and would a made flush play this aggressive rather than trapping and i convinced myself that he had 1 flush card so i pushed on him and he called with AJ of clubs:eek:

Still i think judging by the responses and my own doubts and this is why i posted it i dont think im ever ahead enough here for it to be +EV. i still dont think hed make this play with the made flush but i think he defo would with a set to protect
