A bit out of line IMO. New owners give them a chance, And leave the past where it belongs in the past

Ok if they ruined the first tournament but again ,give them a chance .If they do not learn for their mistakes fair enough. but at least give them a time to sort out teething problems. Remember the other Waterford Club made some nice **** Ups when it first started.
Hell I say if you asked BIG-STICK-POKER he would admit to a few mistakes a long the way, but just look at the festival and you can see what can happen if you listen and learn a long the way

i couldnt care less what you think. i know who the "owner" is.
i will hold a grudge against that hole of a place for as long as it exists and i dont need a lecture off you, whoever you are.

there is alot of bad vibes against the shamrock here, i tought it was a good format started with 9000 and 20 min blinds=, structure was good no i dont work there either, but i will head back for a game,

I agree its better to give the place a chance to get its feet , Imo they are tryin to keep the customer happy and will change structures and even rake to suit the player so i have no complaints from the other night , Lads who own the place are sound , And the Manager is confident and will keep pursuing players until they come in which is needed , I feel there is room for this place and if run right and if it gets the numbers could do ok ... Blazin aces for a small card room has a unique atmosphere where the banter is more like a football match every night ..If u were a new player u would love it so i dont see it really affecting them ..Even last night there was 50 for the €25 F/O which is good criac for players learning

All i can say is teething problems are in every biz when oipening so ust give em a chance as they aim to please

with reference to the shamrock - the owners & manager haven't got a clue - so imo it's a dead duck - i wish them well & would like to see them running good games, but i can't see it happening im affraid

Shuffle Up Card Club in Tramore

    Sunday - €30 F/O
    Monday - €25 F/O
    Tuesday - CLOSED
    Wednesday - €30 + 1 Rebuy
    Thursday - Cash Games
    Friday - €40 F/O
    Saturday - Cash Games

They open at 8pm-ish if I remember correctly.

I went in for a game last Monday and while there was only 10 people there, it was a good laugh nonetheless.

Just letting you all know the new tournament schedule.
We're only open two weeks so a bit of juggling had to be done on the schedule to accommodate the flow of players and what suits people best. Its the first club of its kind in Tramore and I'd like to thank everybody who has been in to play or who has lent a hand in other ways. Much appreciated all. As time goes by, and as players in the town get to know club etiquette and hone their games, I'm sure we will have a thriving little club. We've kept buy ins low to attract all players, but our cash action is now starting to pick up nicely! Thursday nights game has the potential to become legendary, as anybody who was there just this Thursday gone will testify! We've got four tables and can accommodate 40 players. Our dealers are top notch and well known on the South Eastern circuit.

    Anyway, here's the schedule...

    Sunday - 30 freezeout + Cash action
    Monday - 25 freezeout + Cash action
    Tuesday - 30 freezeout + Cash action
    Wednesday - Closed
Thursday - Cash action from 11.30pm (Note - a 20 freezeout takes place in nearby Murphs Bar prior to this game from 9pm with players moving to the club after)
    Friday - 40 freezeout + Cash action
Saturday - We will be testing the waters with a 50 f/o Satellite for the Big Slick Main Event in November subject to entries...ticket for every ten. With Saturday being a traditionally slow poker night, this may not take off but we'll see. I would imagine that when the summer season here passes and with the Main Event approaching faster this will become popular......if we don't get the numbers initially its cash action from 9pm.

...So there you go. Hope to see some of you soon.
