last longest bet on WSOP Main Event??

we did this last year and it was good fun (I think Ste05 took it down with Allen Cunningham)

it does exactly what it says on the tin - pick 1 player before the tournie starts (this Friday) and the person whose pick goes furthest gets paid $20 by all other participants

Anyone up for this again?
My pick is the same as last year - Rob Taylor to take this down for Ireland and Boards.ie!!

Yup, good old Allen Cunningham, although if we had some kind soul who would be willing to act as a holding person it would be helpful as quite alot of people didn't pay last year... :mad:

Holding centrally though is a pain in the hole, it's easier to trust everyone and give them your Stars name or request a neteller transfer...bah

I agree it's a pain in the hole, hence why I didn't volunteer to do it... I was just pointing it out incase anyone wanted to step up... I'm happy to go on people's word, and no, there'll be no naming and shaming, alot of it was just sheer forgetfulness I'm sure. And I honestly can't remember who didn't pay, I'm fairly sure most, if not all, the regulars did though...
