So I did quite horrendous in my final years exam no less, good job on my front so I am comtemplating what to do next.
3 options of giving up and forgetting about, repeating in August or repeating next year are on the agenda.
My main question is about repeating next year, am I allowed do it if I don't take the repeat exams in August?. I am pretty certain it would cost me to 350 to do externally although someone may correct me on that?
Any other comments or remarks etc?

Yes, you are allowed a total of 4 attempts at CA4 exams. But if you miss an attempt (i.e. the repeat), then you will be recorded as absent and you will have lost your 2nd attempt and have only 2 left.

My advice (for anyone in your type of situation) – Do the repeats. You have nothing to gain by not doing the repeats.

    Thanks for the reply.
The reason I would not comtemplate not taking the repeats is I am currently in the US working and would have to leave early, and all the hassle that goes with that but It is ultimately something I have to decide for myself.

Costwise cooker, it costs (IIRC) aroudn 350 per module you repeat, the price is different for external/internal though. But if you fail any continuous stuff you has to repeat the whole module internally.

If you're repeating an entire year, all modules externally it'll still be costing you a grand or so...

You sure it is 350 per module?
And you definately repeat whole module including re doing the exam if you fail continous assesment?

1 of the modules I failed the coursework element and the lecturer has given me the repeat project. I asked him do I have to repeat the exam, he said he didn't know if I passed or not and to contact the faculty, not quite sure who of the faculty I am supposed to contact?

repeating externally costs 350 altogether. You pay per module if you repeat internally.
