Morning after pill

Was just wondering if anyone has gotten the morning after pill and it failed to work? If so how long after you had sex did you take it? I'm going to get it tomorrow which will make it approx 36 hrs after. I know it can be taken up to 72 hours after but is more effective the sooner it is taken.

The effectiveness decreases the further after intercourse it is taken. Your GP will explain all this to you when you ask.
