Im booking a holiday to Bulgaria soon.

Which resort is better for a couple? There probly the same but is one a lot better than the other? We want a good variety of nightclubs, pubs and restaurants

Just back from Sunny Beach, great spot, lots of pubs and things to do.
Stayed in the Victora Palace, fantastic hotel.

The Sunny Beach vs Golden Sands debate has been had many times at:

I read that forum before going last year... man there's hours worth of reading in it.

I went last year and loved it. Little by way of clubbing in sunny beach but the bars are open all night and cheap as chips.

I stayed in the marvel which is right behing the Victoria palace and way nicer as far as I'm concerned, It's modern and simple. The VP is just ghastly looking as far as i'm concerned. The inside of it looks like a mafia film set from the 50's.

If you want any more recommendations pm me. theres a few dos and donts.

    Hi wisesmuf,

If you could put the do's and don'ts up here for everyone to see that would be excellant.

I can stay in the marvel, or we can save ourselves 100euro each and get accomadation on arrival with the travel company. Were pretty broke at the moment so don't know what to do!

    What do you think?
