Barrage Meath - Puddenhill Activity centre

As Barrage looks like it will soon be the second airsoft location in the republic I think it should have a proper thread, like HRTAs "HRTA Next Saturday?".

Firstly, if you have GPS these are the true Co-ordinates:
N:53 35.310
W:6 25.777

ATM: We need to do a demo for the insurance brokers before they will insure them. Considiring they have insurance for Paintball it shouldnt be a problem.

The site has a speedball area, a fighter jet baught on ebay and more.

Directions to site:
Directions to the Venue from the Tescos on the Finglas Road (N2) and from the M50
1mile - straight through roundabout - lidl will be on right after roundabout
1.5mile - M50 roundabout, keep in middle lane and go straight through, heading for Derry (N2)
8miles - (junction 3 for ashbourne) DO NOT TAKE, stay on duel carriageway
12.1 miles - end of bypass, take a left at roundabout and go straight, heading for Derry (N2)
14.1 miles - straight through junction and pass statoil garage
14.5 miles - straight through small junction
15 miles - straight through small junction
15.6 miles - turn right at junction for sign for indoor karting(watch out for a 'top' garage)
16 miles - turn right at sign for Pudden Hill
17miles - turn left at sign for Pudden Hill
17.4 miles - turn left a big stone walled entrance and go paintballing and soon airsofting.

today was great craic!
apart from my original trip, a long and wet drive up the N3 instead of N2 with a soaked #rse, the two games we had where realy good,the site is well set up and every one there was dead sound.
so sign me up for the next barrage game.

hopefully wel get this bit of forest too!

was thinkn that myself, chances are i was talkn to you today but would never know it, and i went down there on my own so was all alone (HAHA!) until i eventually got talkn to people, so there ye go - start a names / faces thread!

Firstly a great day a very big thank you to the lads at Barrage. Puddenhill is an amazing facility over all with a bar and restaurant to swap battle stories and compare scars in afterwards.Listening to the lads there they have some serious plans for the place including a WW2 Village to skirmish in ala Band of Brothers.

Shame the insurance guy couldn't make it but I believe another attempt will be made maybe in a mid week.

Great to meet everyone and put faces to names. NOIP sorry me and Lemming scared you too much in the car on the way over. (cheers Lemming for the lift btw!)

Unfortunately not too many pictures taken as I thought we would be skirmishing alot more and was planning on getting out and amoung you lot for action shots later on. I will try to do this next time.

Nice pics gandalf! we neeed to get you in where the action is. I mite see if i can mount my camcorder to my aeg, or get a bullet cam if its compatible, but its all down to the guys who run the skirmish sites, if they are ok with it.

Lol, I was zoned out in that picture.

I also "bang-killed" someone just before making a run for the flag. I think I scared the bejaysus out of the lad because he kind of looked at me wide-eyed when I ran in on top of him screaming like a maniac. So whomever you were/are, sorry for the fright ...

Anyone got any ideas of when the insurance guy will be there for the next time?. Ive seen the pictures and they make the place look really good and was pissed when i found out i coulda made it in Kdouglas's car:(.

depending when it is ill just "work from home" that day... but ill be away for a month starting 18th july, but if im in the country i can give lifts
