    Can a GP do this?

    Anyone know somewhere good?

How long is healing time afterward?

    Thanks.

I don't know. Phone you GP, they might or might not be set up for it. They might need to order the nitrogen.

I would imagine an std clinic would be your best bet ... Esp if you know your GP and would not be comfortable going to them
Your local family planning clinic should be able to tell you the nearest location

I had bad case of warts on my fingers of both hands and was referred to a specialist in the Blackrock clinic by my GP.

why is this relevant I hear you ask? well he froze them there and then with the Nitro and gave me a script for genital wart cream (I'm presuming its much stronger?) for a couple of weeks. My guess is go to a GP for a referral or head to the STI in St James :)

Did you have genital warts or did he just give it to you because of the warts on your hands ? Did you have to pick up the cream at the chemist ? (v.embaressing!)

Have the warts come back ?

    Why?

Go to pharmacy. Hand over prescription. Receive paper bag with medication back. Pay money. Place bag in pocket / handbag / shopping bag.

Now if you really want to, go to a different pharmacy where they don't know you and also buy a toothbrush at the same time. Nobody will know.

The people behind the counter will know!

Do you have GUM clinics in this country like we have in the uk? If so go to one of them.

If you're a lady go to the Well Woman clinic. There's one at the Ha'penny Bridge beside the pub Pravda. I think the one on Pembroke Road deals with men too.

'I had genital warts about 10 years ago, very uncomfortable to have but it doesn't take long to get rid of them. I initially went to my doctor who referred me to James, they froze them and gave me a lotion to put on. Yes I had to buy it in a chemist, don't remember being embarrassed was just happy to be getting rid of them. I had them for about a week or so and had to go back to James' for a check up. I haven't had them since.

You should really get them checked out ASAP and don't be embarrassed about it, both doctors and pharmacists have to deal with this sort of this daily and don’t think twice about it or the person.'

there is an well man clinic on eccles street, near the mater hospital, an old housemate boyfriend had to have some removed. it took a few months going for treatment once a week i think, i cant be sure, it might have been once a month. it didnt hurt and he could still have sex. tbh warts isnt the worse thing in the world that can happen to you.

Look, go talk to a doctor.

Try not to use txtspk with them.
