It looks gorgeous, but I can't help thinking from what I've seen that it's going to be a game where you wade into dozens of enemies while mashing the face buttons and hoping for the best. They seem to be trying to create an interesting world and story though so could be worth getting regardless, and will have to wait and see how the gameplay goes.

There's a 3 page preview here from the presentation this media came from, but unfortunately it's in Dutch.

A rough translation of the summary:
Heavenly Sword is the ****, simple as that. The game has a delicious battle system, looks incredibly good, and has a story that will captivate you for the 8 to 12 hours that the game lasts. On top of that add the value of the sixaxis control, the smart camera work and the ridiculously smooth gameplay, and you've got one of the autumns big hitter for the Playstation 3. After my game session, I can't wait to control Nariko for longer. Luckily we won't have to wait much longer: the game comes out in September. Heavenly!

From what I've read, they don't want to make it too difficult for newcomers to do fancy-looking stuff, but the combat system seems very deep and varied, and there seems to be a lot of room to explore to take the best approach in a given situation, and it rewards you for doing so via a style meter and super-moves that are unlocked via it. Also, the combat scale varies from one-on-ones all the way up to a few thousand in the large army scenes, so you won't always be despatching scores of enemies in one go.

We'll probably get more previews very soon..I'm sure there were more journalists at this presentation than just gamer.nl :)
