I'm trying to print the picture below but the green comes out a lot darker (almost black) than on my calibrated screen. Should the colour handling in CS3 be set to 'Printer Manages Colour', 'Photoshop Manages Colour' or 'No Colour Management'?

I've tried other prints and they have been fine. The printer is an Epson R1800.

I find printing with PS drives me around the twist!! Even when I think everything is set up it still manages to shag it up. My solution is to tell PS to let the printer handle colour management.

I ue Qimage and find it great. There is another thing you could do and I find this programme brilliant. Go to Epson Australia and download the latest version of PhotoQuicker (Aust. because it is the only place that has the latest version). Install and give it a lash. If it works with your printer you will be pleasantly surprised. I use it a fair bit with my 2100. It's really good for strong colours like this shot.

Thanks Danny. The Epson software worked out perfectly and the print now actually looks like the image above.

I think that's the last time I'll be using PS for printing.

I have had the same experience with PS too and used Easy Photo Print (newer version than photoquicker) and everything looks like it should be.
