I've come across a program that compresses videos to a small fraction of the original file size. The program is called iSquint and i think its mac only. You can get it at www.isquint.org

Any good video compressors for PC? I have Adobe Premiere Pro and there is a problem with the inbuilt compressor. I'm exporting a 20 min AVI file that's nearly 4.5 gb. I wanted to get a good compressor so then I could split the file into two parts for putting up on youtube. Any advice???

Try Sorenson Squeeze. I presume it'll work on a PC. I'm strictly a Macboy.

Super by erightsoft, just select the output file type and compression
required. Will convert to/from most formats and probably one of the
    best free tools.
