Have i missed a newsletter or something lately is the limp re-raise the new in thing to do??

The amount of times i have seen this done in the past week is absolutely incredible.

Who here does it and why? Or who doesnt do it at all?

I don't limp so I've never had the opportunity to, is it fun?

Where have you noticed it, what sort of tables (6 max/ full ring) levels (.05/.10 / 5/10), tournament/ cash, live/on-line, etc.

Generally it's terrible and easy to play against.

I tend to use it from time to time during early stages of sit and go's against aggressive players who i am confident will raise from a late position. If you mix it up right, you can do it with weak hands and get respect I tend to find

I kick myself when they don't raise :D

i've seen it a little on party, and yeah, they always have aces, which is great if you had the odds to set mine. I've seen more people ol/call with aces than limp re-raise tho.

I like to limp with JJ and then if someone raises i can re-raise them find out exactly where i am or take down a handy 30bucks...
i lol`d at this. Its sometimes a good idea to mix things up i guess, but id prefer to 4 bet light than to do this.

    When i say randomer i mena Reggie - i.e. cardshark202

It seems to be the in thing to do now that people assume its always aces same way a raise used to get respect no matter what position it was from now anything other than a UTG raise seems to be seen as a steal!

Live play over the last week in cash and tournament.

I just found it increbibly frustrating at times. It screams out that "i have a monster" and then when u try and limp and hope that someone raises you run the risk of taking your KK or AA to multi way pots.
