Was just wondering about Infared shots. To behonest I haven't a clue about them. What exactly is the deal with IR filters etc, how do they work. Just a quick explanation would be good, I'm just curious. Cheers people

IR is just the part of the spectrum past red; invisible to the human eye.
IR film is sensitive to this part of the spectrum; normal film isn't.

how an IR filter works on a digital, i don't know.
