Just a bit of fun last night. The ones that don't have any shadow - I did by shooting it on a glass plate, on top of some white card, on the ironing board by the bedroom window :)

    I love fruit...

Was looking at these in flickr last night, really great shots. I love the first one, has a lovely texture and gloss to it. Nicely done and nicely set up by the sounds of it too!! Great job

    Great work again though, Elven.
    Briliant stock photography!

you certainly are fond of your cherries !!

The first is my favorite , i like the other 3 , but the poor last one , looks like the black sheep

the middle 3 are all growers to me, not instantly atttractive , but slowly there appeal grows ..

so this is what you were getting up to when i was out on the beer..... aaaaah now i see.

Its amazing the amount of construction required for some cherry photographs. It never ceases to amaze me, but they're great none the less.

    Sorry Baz...

The first one: Rotate it to 90 degrees the right, however the stalk is not whole there - I am really missing it. And colours are too vague. It looks too common. Sorry.

The second one? It looks much better, however it seems unsharp, like motion blurrness. I couldn't live with it :-)

You could do better shots! And you know that I like talking :-)

this one is my favourite too! Great work, and good tips on a makeshift light table as well, I plan to set one up first thing in our new place.

    Lucky one :-)

I can only dream about eating them. Iwould like to shoot small things, however the price of films is still growing... :-/

tell me about it ! www.mx2.co.uk will ease the pain a bit. They almost always have expired film (typically expiring that month) for 99p a roll. I've got a big brick of kodak portra and ilford delta in my fridge. Though of course you still have to get it developed :-( That D200 is beginning to look more and more attractive !
