you can withdraw as much as you like from your credit card (at the cage in the rio) but they charge very high rates. something like 4% if I remember correctly. i took out 3k last year and paid about $150 for it

I was planning on taking maybe $1k to $2k out there with me and then use my uk debit card to withdraw as needs be (hopefully not at all if I hit the ground running :D ), this sound like a reasoanble idea or not?

Btw has anyone gone about organising an ITIN?

Cheers Niall.. I think i ll just keep withdrawing the max I can each day. I ve been dumping it in the hotels safety deposit boxes here.

PS Might not be going anywhere... Delta have lost our bags and we aint seen our bags since we arrived here yesterday.

Correction to the above... I ve just noticed how much my own bank is charging me for these cash withdrawals so maybe 1 large withdrawal in the Rio would be cheaper in the long term.

Thats a bit of a nightmare losing your bags. It happened me when i was in vegas in January but they eventually turned up at the MGM the following day so fingers crossed mate.

I withdraw from my ATM and it costs $4.99 regardless of how much i withdraw. The Credit Card cash advance system is much more expensive however though. you can wire money into the Bellagio too im sure they`d be happy to help you if you tell them you will be playing there, i think everyone is keeping their cash in the cages there anyway.

    $4.99 charge from US bank
Then lump on the exchange rate and also commission from BOI/AIB and you're prob losing about 5% on every $700

well joe is defo the value over here. apart from that reggie is good for a 3-bet when you have AA but he tends to hit a lot of the time.. and oscar will donk off 200BBs with 46o preflop so you should be ok:)
