    hi all..
    I'll keep this short

I failed one subject (31%) but pass by compensation and when calculated all subjects, I have 63% average.

On the portal page DCU only give me a "PASS"

By right I have passed the failed subject by compensation, am I correct??
Then shouldn't I get the 2.1 based on my average??

What's your opinion?? And who do I talk to in order to find out more about this matter??

Nope, that's a pass score alright. In return for not failing the year you just get a pass mark. Fail or compensate anything and it's a pass grade, even if you repeat.

    At least that's my understanding.

Yep, thats correct. It does differ for different courses but a pass by compensation means a PASS overall in the general DCU sense.

Nope, thanks to the new rules for CA which ended up being brought in intime I got my Hons. :D

And no, Games Soc didn't destroy me...completely anyway. Totally worth it though! :)
