[iPod] Syncing problem - help

I have a 6GB Ipod mini and i recently went over the amount of songs i can put onto it so it created a playlist called "my ipod selection" and the rest of them would just stay on iTunes now i hav under the limit so i deleted this playlist and when i went to "sync" my iPod it says "songs on the ipod cannot be synced because…

now i hav under the limit so i deleted this playlist and when i went to "sync" my iPod it says "songs on the ipod cannot be synced because all of the playlists selected for syncing no longer exist "
and it wiped everything off my ipod
i still have all my songs on my Itunes
but does anyone know what to do?
