Some great shots there, the shielding the ball and penalty call ones in particular.

What lens and ISO were you using?

Yeah, some really good shots. You have caught the decisive moment well in a couple. They are all great quality.

    Thanks

The penalty was captured with a Nikon D50 using the kit 18-55 mm and ISO of 600, shutter 1/1250

    The second (shieldingthe ball) with a D200 using telephoto 300mm f4 @ 220 ISO, shutter 1/1000

Not for all of them, some don't have the ISO, and the specific type of lens is never in the exif data :p

Great clarity. You'll always struggle with the background though.
Even most eL grounds wouldn't offer you much of a background.
We'll have to get down to Croker for some International. ;)

I'm missing the City game on Saturday, but should get to Dalyer on Tuesday for the debut of Colin Healy. Hopefully I'll have something for C&C on Wednesday.
All going well, City will host Hammarby then on Saturday. Should get down to that. Otherwise, it's City away to Galway.

LOL, Dalyer is dreadful for light as are all el grounds really.

With a two goal advantage it should be Hammarby Saturday week unless you are RRS by UEFA:D
