tattoos, sun, salt water?

    on holidays and am thinkin il get a tattoo but im just wonderin how to best take care of it? also is it bad to have it exposed to the sun and sea? anything else that u think might be helpful would be great,

    Try these links for info on tattoo after care, but its unwise to expose a new tattoo to the sun and salt water, because it'll get damaged.

    i was scuba diving for 30/40 mins at a time twice a day after getting mine for a week and it was completely fine but my sister's kept getting sand on it and got infected and all the colour somehow disapeered, only the outline remained. she has since gotten it fixed.
